Jack Russell Park, a cherished 12-acre City-owned and maintained green space, serves as the primary home for the ABAA. We are pleased to provide the baseball/softball fields for their dedicated use in supporting our youth.

Youth Sports Programming

The ABAA is the trusted, primary steward of youth baseball and T-ball for Atlantic Beach. It offers essential, recreational leagues for boys and girls aged 3 to 12, ensuring every child has a place to play and grow.

City Support and Recreation Goals

Our Neighborhoods Department actively collaborates with organizations like the ABAA. We facilitate park reservations, offer logistical support, and work to ensure our residents have consistent access to a diverse array of recreational activities.

Background and Operational Details

The Atlantic Beach Athletic Association has a rich history of serving our community, officially operating as a Florida Not For Profit Corporation since May 4, 1989. For many years, Jack Russell Park—specifically located at 800 Seminole Road—has been the hub for their activities, which include robust Spring and Fall leagues for children aged 3 to 12.

The synergistic relationship between the City providing and maintaining the excellent facilities at Jack Russell Park, and the ABAA expertly organizing and running the youth leagues, is crucial for sustaining organized youth baseball programs in Atlantic Beach.
