The City Clerk’s office will provide a certified statement of liens or assessments owing to the City on any property located within our municipal boundaries. This information is most often requested by closing attorneys or banks when property is being sold or refinanced.
When requesting a lien letter, please provide the following information:
Name of the current property owner,
Legal description including the 10-digit Real Estate/Parcel number of the property, and
Property address (only one parcel number/address per letter).
The cost of each lien letter is $10.
If paying by check, please:
Make check payable to City of Atlantic Beach, and
Mail request along with payment to City of Atlantic Beach, City Clerk’s Office, 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233
If paying by credit card, please: (Mastercard or Visa accepted)
Email request to Kim Flower, Records Clerk, at email@example.com and note your intent to pay by credit card. Your request will be confirmed with instructions on paying.
The City processes lien letter requests in the order they are received. Please allow no less than 5 days for processing.
