26TH ANNUAL FAMILY FUN DAY & CAMPOUT UNDER THE STARTS, Tent set up begins Saturday at 3:00 pm. (Jack Russell Park, Seminole Rd. & Plaza St.) $15 per site, Reservations/Assignments are first come first served. Registration at the Recreation Dept. (716 Ocean Blvd.) during office hours 8 am-4 pm (excluding 12 -1 pm). Please pay registration fee by cash, credit card, money order or check. All campers must provide own beverages, snacks and dinner on Saturday night. We apologize, we are unable to accommodate special diets. Free pancake breakfast Sunday morning Pancake Breakfast! Bring all the usual camping provisions and be sure to bring lawn chairs to circle around the campsite and fire ring and for the Twilight Movie. Don’t forget flashlights, cooking utensils, sunscreen, insect repellent. Also bring binoculars and telescopes for moon-gazing. Call 904-247-5828 for further information.

Group sites, PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL CAMPERS ARE AWARE OF THESE RULES
(1.) Each Campsite fee is $15.00 and can accommodate one medium sized tent.
(2.) NO VEHICLES IN PARK or CAMP GROUND AREA! You will need to carry/cart-in gear from the parking lot. (No baseball games Saturday afternoon!)
(3.) We ask that all campers claim their campsite no later than Saturday at 5 p.m. Campers should break camp by 12 noon on Sunday.
(4.) An adult must accompany anyone under 18 years of age. Parents may not leave children unattended (i.e. parents may not leave children in park and go home)
(5.) Parents are responsible for their own children and must keep watchful eyes on them at all times, especially around fires.
(6.) Do not leave fires unattended.
(7.) NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED IN CITY PARKS.
(8.) No overnight pets or boom boxes. Acoustic Guitars are welcome! Quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m.
(9.) Campers are responsible for cleaning up their own campsite area on Sunday.
(10.) Water will be available in restrooms and near concession stand. There are no shower facilities.
(11.) Campers may bring small grills (wood is not provided to campers)
All public facility and public areas should be left in good and clean condition without damage. ALL CITY POLICIES AND ORDINANCES ARE TO BE FOLLOWED. Rain Date: October 26, 2019 - No refunds will be issued! For fires - charcoal, wood and any remnants of the fire must be removed from the area picked up and trash deposited in trash barrels or removed.
THE UNDERSIGNED, FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION OF THEIR USE OF FACILITIES AT JACK RUSSELL PARK IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ATLANTIC BEACH CAMPOUT UNDER THE STARS, AND FOR ALL OTHER GOODS AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, THE RECEIPT OF WHICH IS HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGED, DO HEREBY AGREE TO INDEMNIFY THE CITY OF ATLANTIC BEACH AND HOLD THE CITY HARMLESS FROM ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, EXPENSE CLAIM, CAUSE OF ACTION AND LIABILITY RESULTING FROM THEIR ATTENDANCE AT JACK RUSSELL PARK AND WHICH IS RELATED TO THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE ATLANTIC BEACH CAMPOUT UNDER THE STARS.
The APPLICANT authorizes the City of Atlantic Beach to use and display photographs of participants at this event in any publication, display, advertisement or web publication for use by the City of Atlantic Beach Recreation Programs. The APPLICANT shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the City of Atlantic Beach, its officers, employees and agents from any and all losses, costs, expenses, claims, liabilities, actions, or damages, including bodily injury and personal injury liability for injuries to any person or persons or damage to property arising at any time during and/or arising out of, or in any way connected with APPLICANT'S use of CITY/PUBLIC property, unless solely caused by the gross negligence of willful misconduct of the City, its officers, employees or agents.
