The City of Atlantic Beach wihow to get a permitll be utilizing a new platform for all permits/rentals through Civic Rec. By transitioning to this platform, we are able to better serve you by placing all of our offerings in one convenient location. If you are looking to reserve a Community Center, Pavilion, Park, or Campsite, or looking to sign up for one of our programs or activities, you can now reserve and pay ALL IN ONE PLACE!

With this new platform, you will need to create an account that will store all of your information. No more having to fill out your information, again and again, each time you want to reserve a pavilion or go camping. We also have a convenient catalog, listing everything that is available to be reserved or programs being offered. Click HERE to be taken to the new platform!

Fall Flag Football - SIGN UP NOW

Community Yoga - Wednesdays at Adele Grage Cultural Center - 9 a.m.

Join us for yoga every Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Adele Grage Cultural Center. 

All levels are welcome, and it's FREE to attend. 

All you need is to bring a mat and some water. 

The class is taught by Tracy Marko.

Songwriters Concert - September 11 - 6 p.m.

Enjoy the original sounds by local talent in Gulliford Hall at the Adele Grage Cultural Center.
 Plan on being with us whether you write, sing, play or enjoy listening to good music. Hosted by Roy Peak, local performers transform Gulliford Hall from 6-8 pm with original music creations. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.

Seating is first come, first served for this admission-free, alcohol-free event. Performers should contact host Roy Peak at for more information.

8-Week Fitness Challenge - Gail Baker Community Center - Tuesdays September 13 - November 1 - 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 pm

Donner Bootcamp Flyer Fall 2022

This FREE 8-week fitness class will help you lose weight, shape your body, and get healthier and stronger. Please be sure to bring a water bottle, towel, and your own mat (not required). No reservations are needed. The Gail Baker Center is located at 2072 George St. Email or call (904) 247-5828 for more information. 

The September 27th class has been canceled. Classes will resume the following week and will run until November 8th.

Twilight Movies in the Park - September 16 - 8 p.m./sunset

Bring your lawn chair, blanket, snacks, and bug spray (just in case) for the new round of Twilight Movies in the parks beginning August 19. These Atlantic Beach Cultural Arts & Recreation programs are family-friendly and FREE to the public. The movies will begin at sunset. Children should be accompanied by an adult.

The movies and locations are as follows:

  • September 16 - Soul, Donner Park, 2072 George St.
  • October 22 - Encanto, Russell Park, 800 Seminole Rd.

The movie will begin around 8 p.m. / sunset.

Acoustic Nights with Food Truck - September 25 - 6 p.m.

Host Roy Peak and friends will be in Bull Memorial Park for a concert in the Park under the swaying palm trees with the ocean breeze! It doesn’t get any better than this on a beautiful summer evening as you enjoy the music on your blanket, in your chair, or standing around with neighbors and friends, listening to the musical talent of local singers of all ages. Come rain or shine. In event of inclement weather, the event moves indoors at Gulliford Hall in Adele Grage Cultural Center. 

Come hungry; featuring Food Truck will be available for dinner from 5-8 pm on 7th St. at East Coast Dr. This month's food truck will be the Ever-Changing Food Truck. Take a look at their menu below:

Bull Memorial Park is located on the corner of 7th St. & East Coast Drive. Ride, Walk, Run, or Drive; it’s going to be a great evening! Performers should contact host Roy Peak at  Prepare two original songs of 7-8 minutes combined maximum.

The City of Atlantic Beach’s annual Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, October 8, at Donner Park, 2072 George St., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This family-friendly festival is FREE and open to the public and will have music, games, activities, and more.

Senior Activities - Gail Baker Center

Atlantic Beach loves our Senior Citizens! Seniors, if you’re looking for something to do, join us at the Gail Baker Community Center, 2072 George St., with your friends and make some new ones.

Senior activities include:

Tai Chi is held every Tuesday from 11 a.m. - noon at the Adele Grage Cultural Center, 716 Ocean Blvd.

*Beginning in September, Tai Chi will be held twice a week from 11 a.m. - noon: Tuesdays at Adele Grage Cultural Center and Thursdays at the Gail Baker Community Center.

Atlantic Beach is your beach.  Please enjoy our beautiful beaches, keep it clean, and only leave footprints & paw prints behind.

The City of Atlantic Beach allows leashed dogs on the beach, except while in the water. Please respect your fellow beachgoers. 

Weddings on the beach require a permit issued at the Recreation Department.

Please dispose of all trash and pet droppings in the trash receptacles provided at each beach access. Respect others while on the beach and be safe. Thank you for making  "your" Atlantic Beach beautiful!
