The City of Atlantic Beach Cultural Arts & Recreation is happy to provide free WiFi to visitors of the Recreation centers.
All events hosted by the City of Atlantic Beach Cultural Arts & Recreation are free to the public unless otherwise stated.
Community Yoga - Wednesdays at Adele Grage Cultural Center - 9 a.m.
Join us for yoga every Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Adele Grage Cultural Center.
All levels are welcome and it's FREE to attend.
All you need is to bring a mat and some water.
The class is taught by Tracy Marko.
8-Week Fitness Challenge: Tuesdays May 10-June 28
The 8-week Fitness Challenge will begin on Tuesday, May 10, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Gail Baker Community Center, 2072 George St., and run until June 28.
It is free to attend and the workouts will be designed to accommodate people of all fitness levels. Each exercise will have a modification to allow all fitness levels, and people with injuries or restrictions to get the most out of the workout.

There is a BYE week on April 16th. The playoffs will be held on May 14.

Wild Wonders - May 14 & 28 - 11 a.m.
This season's show will be, "Dinosaurs Among Us." This is an informative and interactive live show that displays local and exotic reptiles. Children and adults are encouraged to participate in the program by holding select animals and performing small roles. Together we will explore the interesting and colorful facts of the Reptile world. Of course, we will have a few warm fuzzies to pet. Come join us as we look into these interesting prehistoric creatures. Great for all ages!
The event is held at Dutton Island Pavilion, rain or shine. However, in the case of inclement weather causing unsafe conditions like lightning or high winds, the show may be delayed or canceled. For more information email recreation@coab.us or call 904-247-5828.

Acoustic Nights with Food Truck - May 15 - 6 p.m.
Host, Roy Peak, and friends will be in Bull Memorial Park for a concert in the Park under the swaying palm trees with the ocean breeze! It doesn’t get any better than this on a beautiful summer evening as you enjoy the music on your blanket, in your chair, or standing around with neighbors and friends, listening to the musical talent of local singers of all ages. Come rain or shine. In event of inclement weather, the event moves indoors at Gulliford Hall in Adele Grage Cultural Center.
Come hungry, Featuring Food Truck will be available for dinner from 5-8 pm on 7th St. at East Coast Dr. Food Truck for May 15 is Filipin-Go. Take a look at their menu:
Bull Memorial Park is located on the corner of 7th St. & East Coast Drive. Ride, Walk, Run, or Drive, it’s going to be a great evening! Performers should contact host Roy Peak at atlanticbeachmusic@gmail.com. Prepare two original songs of 7-8 minutes combined maximum.

Songwriters Concert - May 1 - 6 p.m.
We want to welcome you back to our Songwriter's Concert IN PERSON! Enjoy the original sounds by local talent in Gulliford Hall at the Adele Grage Cultural Center.
Whether you write, sing, play or simply enjoy listening to good music, plan on being with us. Hosted by Roy Peak, local performers transform Gulliford Hall from 6-8 pm with original music creations. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Seating is first come first served for this admission-free, alcohol-free event. Performers should contact host Roy Peak at atlanticbeachmusic@gmail.com for more information.

Canine Carnivale - May 21 - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
We will be hosting our inaugural Canine Carnival event on Saturday, May 21 at Beaches Veterans Memorial Park from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. There will be fun activities, food, and entertainment for ALL to enjoy. More details can be found HERE.
Open Mic Night - Gail Baker Center
We will be hosting an Open Mic Night at the Gail Baker Community Center on May 22 from 6-8 p.m. Anyone interested in performing, please email recreation@coab.us.
Senior Activities - Gail Baker Center
Atlantic Beach loves our Senior Citizens! Seniors, if you’re looking for something to do, join us at the Gail Baker Community Center with your friends and make some new ones.
Senior activities include:

Tai Chi will be held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Gail Baker Community Center.

Atlantic Beach is your beach. Please enjoy our beautiful beaches, keep it clean, and only leave footprints & paw prints behind.
The City of Atlantic Beach allows leashed dogs on the beach, except while in the water. Please respect your fellow beachgoers.
Weddings on the beach require a permit issued at the Recreation Department.
Please dispose of all trash and pet droppings in the trash receptacles provided at each beach access. Respect others while on the beach and be safe. Thank you for making "your" Atlantic Beach beautiful!
