WILD CHILD YOGA FOR KIDS! Every Tuesday
Wild Child Kids Yoga brings music, movement and meditation into the lives of little yogis. A platform to inspire kids to move, relax, create and connect to each other with kindness and to their own true amazing selves while learning the science of yoga.
Weekly classes held at the Adele Grage Cultural Center Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 pm for ages 4-8 & 6:30-7:30 pm for ages 8-12.

WELLBEING WEDNESDAY JOINS ATLANTIC BEACH MIDWEEK MARKET!
CARAC event provides wellbeing classes of all kinds the second Wednesday of each month. Wellbeing classes will be scheduled inside the Adele Grage Cultural Center @ 4 p.m. & 6:15 p.m. 716 Ocean Blvd. FREE.....FREE.....FREE!!!
Classes will be of community education provided by guest speakers, as well as physical awareness taught by licensed instructors. Classes will include: Tai Chi, Yoga, women's self defense, counseling, animal awareness, environmental awareness and so much more. Have an idea? Want to participate? SUNRISE OVER ATLANTIC BEACH PHOTO CONTEST JULY 1 - AUGUST 15
Your photo and name could be on the 2017 cover.
Enjoy morning sunrises in Atlantic Beach, FL? Submit sunrise photos in our first ever Sunrise Photo Contest between July 1 - August 15, 2016. Photos must be taken in Atlantic Beach, FL.
The winning photo will be used on the 2017 Calendar of Events Brochure. The photographer will get recognition on the brochure that is publicized throughout the city. The photo will be cropped to 3"x8" 300 dpi. Submit photos with contact information (name, phone, email and location of photo taken) to
One winner only will be announced on October 1. Entries automatically constitute the contestants acceptance of all conditions set forth, granting the City of Atlantic Beach the right to use the entry as publication in print and online. Photo credit will always be recognized as submitted. Photos will not be accepted without contact & locality information.
Photos will be judged on depth & perception, focal point, lines, lighting & balance.

JAX SURF CAMP,
hosted by Jax Surf & Paddle, is a great way for the future surfers to learn, grow and have fun this summer. Camp is for swimmers ages 6-16,
and consists of learning how to surf and improve current surfing skill sets. Lessons and demonstrations as well as lots of practice. Instructors are First Aid & CPR Certified. It's not too late to sign up.

NORTH BEACHES ART WALK
Thursday, August 18 from 5-9 pm. The Beaches Town Center & The Adele Grage Cultural Center fill the streets and center with artists (local and northeast Florida) of many mediums. Come gather around Atlantic Blvd. /First Street & Ocean Blvd/7th Street. More than 20 locations feature artists and provide refreshments and music to the public.
Make Adele Grage in Bull Park your first/last stop on the monthly North Beaches Art Walk at 716 Ocean Blvd. and meet the featured artist for August, Emily Cheek during the artist's reception, free and open to the public 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Rain or shine.

Last week to stop by the gallery to view the work of renowned national and international artist, Marsha Hatcher's incredible work.
First glance of Marsha's paintings reveals an exciting diversity in style and execution, which is the hallmark of her artwork. She approaches each piece with an emotional openness that allows the subject and the medium of the art to dictate the final form.
Marsha is a founding member of The Art Center Cooperative, Inc and JCDC. and has received grants, awards and many recognitions.

Come in from the heat to enjoy a free indoor concert by local talent. Brought to you by the City of Atlantic Beach Cultural Arts and Recreation Advisory Committee. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Whether you write, sing, play or simply enjoy good music, plan on being with us. Our musical host, Mike Shackelford and his fellow talented performers from our region transforms the Atlantic Beach Theater into a magical space for two hours of original music creations by neighbors and friends.
Seating is first come-first served for this admission-free, alcohol-free event. Bring a friend...or three!

Acoustic Nights will have a featured Food Truck every month.

ABET - Creative Summer Camp for Kids
Creative Drama Summer Camp
Aug 1-12 for completed grades 4 & up from 9am - 1 pm
Jul 25-29 for completed 2nd & 3rd grades from 9am - 1pm
The perfect camps for kids who already love theatre and those who want to try out for the first time. Camps will provide your child with the opportunity to explore their dramatic side through the use of age-appropriate Theatre Games, Music, Dance, Improvisation and Story-telling using their imaginations and creating characters using costumes and props.
Every camp culminates in a play for friends and family, complete with music, singing, lights, costumes and props. Line-learning and preparation for the play is required. Play presentation will be held the last day of camp @ 12 noon.
Fee: $160 per camper per week
$50 deposit due at time of registration to secure spot
