The Human Resource Department is responsible for all actions as pertain to the City’s 110 full time and part time employees, 40 – 45 seasonal ocean lifeguards and 35 retirees as follows:

      - All Human Resource functions
- Employment
- Payroll (employee and retirees)

      -  Labor relations

      -  Union contact negotiations for three labor unions

      -  Employee Benefits (Health, life, dental, etc.)

      -  General Insurance (liability, property, automobile, etc.)

      -  Risk Management
