Stay safe at the beach

The cities of Atlantic Beach, Jacksonville Beach and Neptune Beach continue to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic at the local level and are working to provide residents and visitors with the safest environment possible.

Please be aware that lifeguard staffing across all three beaches may fluctuate from day to day based on personnel availability. The safety of everyone in our community remains our top priority; it requires cooperation with beaches safety guidelines. Beachgoers are encouraged to enter the water within 500 feet of a lifeguard chair, in order to minimize life-saving response times.
