AB MUNICIPAL ELECTION
General Election - November 8, 2022
Please Note: All Atlantic Beach Commission Offices are elected at-large. AB registered voters can vote for candidates of all seats up for election, regardless of their district. A seat’s district assignment relates to the residency requirements for candidates.
Offices up for election:
Mayor/Commissioner- Seat 1 (2-year term) - At Large
Currently held by Ellen Glasser
Commissioner- Seat 4 (4-year term) - District 1306
Currently held by Candace Kelly
Commissioner- Seat 5 (4-year term) - District 1312
Currently held by Brittany Norris
All candidates must be registered to vote in the City of Atlantic Beach, must have been full-time residents of the city for at least two years immediately prior to qualifying, and must not hold any other elective office. Candidates for Seats 4 & 5 are required to reside within the district for which they are seeking.

The Mayor has no district requirement. The Mayor and Commissioners are all elected At-Large.

July 20, 2022: First Day Petitions/Nominations can be circulated by filed candidates.
August 19, 2022 (5:00 pm): Deadline to file Petitions/Nominations with City Clerk.
August 29, 2022 (Noon) through September 2, 2022 (Noon): Qualifying period.
October 11, 2022: Last day to register to vote (November 8, 2022 General Election).
