Paying Your Bill
How Do I View My Bill Online?
The City of Atlantic Beach now offers our customers a way to securely view and print their Utility Bill online. In order to do this you need to first set up a profile through the Bill2Pay Profile Site.
You can set up your profile by completing the Sign Up Now option and then attaching your profile information to your utility account number. It is not necessary to select a payment method in order to view your bill(s) online.
If you have multiple accounts, you will need to select the specific account you want to look up under the View Bill tab. After selecting the account Number , click the down arrow under the Bills tab to bring up a list of bills to view.
If you have any questions or problems regarding how to set up the View Bill option, please call our Customer Service Office 904-247-5816.
How & Where to Pay Your Utility Bill
To efficiently cover the service area, the City of Atlantic Beach produces monthly bills in three, primary cycles. The bills are due 14 days after the Bill Date on your bill. If you do not receive a bill, please call Utility Billing at 904-247-5816 for a copy.
Your payment must be received at City Hall by 5 p.m. on the due date to avoid a 10% late payment penalty. A delinquent notice will be mailed after the due date if your account is not paid in full, indicating the service cutoff date for nonpayment of the account.
If mailing your payment or using your financial institution’s online bill payment product, please allow sufficient lead time to afford timely receipt by the City (3 to 5 business days are recommended). Delays in receipt due to postal issues, online banking practices, etc., may result in penalty assessment.
The City of Atlantic Beach offers several convenient methods to make your utility payments:
Automatic Bank Draft Payment: Most cost-effective option for both the customer and the City, and convenient for those who travel. You still receive your monthly bill to review, prior to payment. The customer authorizes the City to debit a checking or savings account at their designated financial institution. The funds are automatically drafted through electronic funds transfer (EFT) on the due date.
Print the Bank Drafting Authorization Agreement document.
Online Bank Payment
Make payment through your financial institution’s online bill payment program. If you decide to use this option, please allow 3 to 5 business days for the processing of your payment through the banking system, since some institutions still drop a check in the mail, instead of sending the funds electronically.
