Winning Artist's Statement:
I am honored to have my painting "Musical Seashell" selected as Atlantic Beach Jazz Festival's Inaugural artwork. Living and working in all three Beach communities for most of my career has given me a wonderful appreciation of the creative energy that exists.
The Musical Seashell represents what can be imagined when ideas are given a chance to prosper. A willingness to share and a place to gather is all it takes for the transformation to happen.
