Loftus winning poster

AND THE WINNER IS........

The Cultural Arts and Recreation Advisory Committee has selected the poster design for this year's poster. Congratulations to the winner of the Inaugural Jazz Poster Contest, Kurtis Loftus.

Thank you to the many submissions of creative ideas for the first ever jazz poster in Atlantic Beach.  Kurtis will be selling posters and other items with the poster logo embellished at the Jazz Festival on September 15th.

Artist Statement:
I am honored to have my painting "MusicalSeashell" selected as Atlantic Beach Jazz Festival's Inaugural artwork.
Living and working in all three Beachcommunities for most of my career has given me a wonderful appreciation ofthe creative energy that exists.

The Musical Seashell represents what can beimagined when ideas are given a chance to prosper. A willingness to share and a place togather is all it takes for the transformation to happen.
